Karate For Youth was founded by Mark Davenport in 1996. The program quickly grew to include a summer camp and then, at the urging of the state, Mark opened his first child care center. Karate For Youth proudly served the Irvington community for 20 years before closing in 2017.

Now we are back, and better than ever! With our grand re-opening scheduled coming soon, Karate For Youth will be offering child care, including our unique Olympians program, as well a our new fitness program for adults.

Together with our other location, Destined For Greatness, we are thrilled to now offer programming for all stages of life, from infancy through the childhood and teenage years, and into adulthood. Karate For Youth facilitates fitness for life.
